The History
For many Quinta do Lago’s natural history is probably just as noteworthy as its conventional one. Situated on the South West Coast of Portugal, its natural beauty did not elude the trained eye of migratory birds, who decreed it as a mission critical stop on their journey between Europe and North Africa. In many ways, they are Quinta do Lago early settlers, invited by its colour and entranced by its wonder, they now adorn it with their own colour and music.
It is within this unique history, that Quinta do Lago is now creating its own. Set in 2000 acres of verdant countryside and pine forest bordering the Atlantic ocean and the Ria Formosa Nature Park, Quinta do Lago is a symbol of excellence and outstanding quality, where natural beauty is perfectly complemented by gracious living, maybe just as Quinta do Lago’s “early settlers” first intended.
